WHAT IS THE MAP ?

A simple concept at the service of a house anchored in heritage

The MAP worked since its construction, and for about thirty years, as the church vicarage of Verbier-Village. The priest and his maid lived there all year round, while other ecclesiastics occasionally stayed there for a more or less long time. Run today as a Luxury Backpacker or Group Accommodation during the entire year, it opens its doors wide to everyone respecting the values which have contributed as much to its building as to its reputation, namely the sharing, the conviviality and the opening to others. Its running, in a clearly non-profit approach and so guarantee of reasonable prices for the resort, allows it to be self-financed over 365 days.

Well-equipped and functional rooms

Built on 3 floors and looked after with great care, this non-smoking chalet can welcome a maximum of 28 guests. It counts a certain number of common rooms : a spacious living-room (35m2) with giant (65 inches) flat-screen television and DVD/Blu-ray/Netflix player, the whole pleasantly heated in the traditional way with "soapstone" (wood stove typical of the region) ; a fully equipped kitchen (20m2) with dining-room and two common bathrooms with shower, toilet and washbasin on the second floor as well as two new private bathrooms, built in 2020, on the ground floor. The front door, secured by a digicode, leads to wide heated premises where one can leave one's shoes and ski equipment or even bikes, in the summer ; Crocs type slippers are also at disposal there. Lockable metallic compartments were fit out on the second floor so as to allow the deposit of valuables in a safe place. It is possible to connect for free to a high-speed fibre optic Wi-Fi network of 400 Mbits/s. wherever one is in the house.

Stylish bedrooms in an alpine decoration

Our 7 rooms, from which two sextuple (25m2), two quadruple, two triple and one double are cosy and welcoming. They are all equipped with a light parquet flooring and bear an evocative name, the one of the surrounding mountains our heart is so fond of. Thus, according to their geographical position, they were called GRAND-COMBIN, PETIT-COMBIN, PIERRE- AVOI, MONT-GELÉ, ROGNEUX, CATOGNE and BARME. The four first ones are located on the second floor and have a television (32 inches)/Netflix and a washbasin. The two next ones, on the ground floor, are triple with private bathroom, television (43 inches)/Netflix, DVD/Blu-ray player and have been renovated in 2020. The last one, the double with private bathroom, television (40 inches)/Netflix and DVD/Blu-ray player is to be found on the first floor. The family rooms GRAND-COMBIN and PETIT-COMBIN are the biggest and share a crossing generously sunny balcony, since south-facing. Furthermore, for each of our beds, an adjustable bedside lamp and a complete bedding are provided.
